Born on Friday the 13th !
FYI your intrepid Solstice Calendary creator was born on Friday the Thirteenth !!!
But thats OK 13 has a great history besides being the natural number of calendar months. It is a Fibonacci number - 1 2 3 5 8 and 13
There were 13 original colonies that became the United States of American. What associations to the number 13 can you come up with???

Still waiting for more Solstice Calendar Birthday Requests !
Dave K’s Solstice B-Day - Way ta Go Dave !
David was the first brave soul to request the calculation of his Solstice Calendar Date of Birth. So I will use the calculation of his DOB as an example.
The Winter Solstice in Gregorian 1965 took place on December 21st. Therefore the Solstice Calendar New Years Day took place on Gregorian December 22nd 1965. The Y.O.O.S. (Year Of Our Species) was 194,966. So, David here is your Solstice Calendar month and day of birth.

Dave you were born in the 10th month of Uranus on Wednesday the 4th exactly 256 days after the Winter Solstice. Your Solstice Calendar birthday would always be celebrated on Wednesday the Fourth of Uranus.
A copy of this has been sent to David. Thanks again for being both curious and adventurous Dave.

Why Use 195,009 Y.O.O.S. Year Of Our Species ?
What should the year be on a Science Based Calendar?
Should it start with:
1. The Big Bang? 13,000,000,000 to 15,000,000,000 years ago (kinda long)
2. The Age of the Earth - approximately 4,500,000,000 years ago - hmmmmmmm
3. The beginning of life - approximately 3,500,000,000 years ago
4, The birth of the human species sounds good, so when was it?
195,000 Years Ago
University of Utah dean of mines Geologist Frank Brown is shown here crouching on Ethiopia’s Kibish rock formation. On this site Brown and colleagues identified fossilized bones of Homo Sapiens that were determined to be 195,000 years old. In 2005 these were the oldest fossils of the our species ever found!

A book Reco - You Must Read ANATHEM by Neal Stephenson. The Consents in Anathem had their own clock / calendar systems.
The Solstice Calendar System is just the beginning of a New Religious / Philosophical Order. There is NO Dogma. Your are not required to leave anything behind. You are to EXAMINE everything you believe in. You are responsible for designing/developing your own Philosophy from the bottom up. Are you up to it?
Rise Above the Gene Pool and Think for Yourself.
Most everything we believe came from the system we were born into. We weren’t admonished to start from scratch and given a system and tools to arrive in our own belief system. Ask yourself - Are you afraid of what you’d come with if you objectively examined and integrated all of your beliefs?
